Lasagna

Fresh pasta sheets layered with prima dulce ricotta, aged parmigiana, pecorino romano, bolognese, and marinara – the Anthonino’s Taverna lasagna from the family-run Hill neighborhood institution brothers Anthony and Rosario Scarato opened in St. Louis in 2003. Their Italian father’s recipes and their Greek mother’s touch are both in the menu; the lasagna is where the Italian side speaks most clearly, from the restaurant voted St. Louis’ best Italian.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Anthonino’s Taverna ships Tuesday-Wednesday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Lasagna ships frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
• Do not handle dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon arrival, keep frozen for up to 6 months or transfer to the refrigerator to thaw.

To Serve

• Lasagna must be cooked from thawed. Allow 24 hours in the refrigerator to thaw.
• Bake covered on the middle rack in a preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
• Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is blistering and golden brown.
