Two packs of Kossar’s lox from the Lower East Side’s oldest bialy bakery – choose from Pastrami Nova, aged with Scotch whiskey for a sweet, velvety cure, or lightly smoked Nova for the classic briny finish. The Grand Street institution Isadore Mirsky and Morris Kossar founded in 1936 built its reputation on the bialy, but the appetizing counter at 367 Grand Street has always been the proper LES frame around it: the lox is the schmear’s best reason to exist.

• Kossar’s Bagels & Bialys ships Monday-Friday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
