Two dozen Ackroyd’s scones across their four most beloved varieties: Blueberry, Cranberry Orange, Golden Raisin, and Plain – from the third-generation Redford, Michigan bakery Al and Silas Ackroyd founded in 1949 after a visiting Scottish Master Baker named John Lindsay introduced the recipes. Tender, lightly sweetened, properly crumbled – the scone that Metro Detroit has been reaching for since the 1950s, in the variety pack that covers every preference at the table.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Ackroy’s Scottish Bakery ships Monday – Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Scones
• Scones ship frozen with ice packs, which may thaw during transit.
• Scones can be stored in the freezer for up to 90 days, in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or at room temperature for up to 2 days when stored in an airtight container.

• Cream
  • Cream arrives ready to enjoy.
  • Unopened cream has a long shelf life, approximately 12 months from date of delivery.
  • After opening, refrigerate and use within 5 days.
  • Do not freeze.

• Jam
  • Jam arrives ready to enjoy!
  • Store unopened jam in a cool, dark and dry place for 12-18 months.
  • Refrigerate jam after opening and consume within 3-4 weeks.

To Serve
Recommended

• Scones should be thawed and eaten at room temperature.

Toasted

• Scones can be warmed for a few minutes in the toaster to your preference.

From Frozen

• Preheat the oven to 350°F.
• Bake for 10-20 minutes depending on desired doneness.
• Note: watch scones closely while in the oven as they may burn.
• Remove, serve and enjoy!
