Description

The full Kossar’s table in one box: hand-rolled, brick-oven baked bialys from the oldest bialy bakery in the United States, smoked fish, cream cheese, and black and white cookies – the complete Lower East Side spread from the Grand Street institution Isadore Mirsky and Morris Kossar founded in 1936. Eater ranked the bialys the best in New York; former New York Times food critic Mimi Sheraton called them the best in the country. The smoked fish and the cookies are what keep the Kossar’s regulars from the same LES blocks coming back after 90 years.
