When Sugar Avenue bakes their cakes, they take every detail seriously. That’s why their caramel is crafted in small batches, so that you get that deep, rich and silky flavor that can only be achieved by making it with love. Their caramel is made with Plugra butter and layered in between fluffy cream cake that is made with fresh sour cream.
Ed Crenshaw spent much of the past 20 years baking cakes for some of Memphis’ most beloved restaurants. But it wasn’t until COVID-19 hit that his daughter, Miller Cowan, convinced him to step out from behind the curtain and start his own bakery. Shortly thereafter, Sugar Avenue was born. Ed sadly passed away in 2022, but his children are carrying on his mission to create cakes made with only super-premium ingredients, like Plugra butter and bourbon from Memphis’ own Old Dominick Distillery.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Sugar Avenue ships Monday-Friday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Cakes ship frozen with ice packs
- Ice packs and cake may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival place cake in the refrigerator or freezer
- Cake can be frozen immediately upon arrival for up to 2 months
- Cake may be kept refrigerated for up to 3 days
To Serve
- Remove plastic wrap while the cake is still frozen to ensure the icing stays nice
- Let sit at room temp for one hour before serving
