Two layers of moist chocolate cake under a signature coconut pecan frosting, loaded with sweet shredded coconut and crunchy pecans in every forkful. Named for Audris Barnes’s great-grandfather Adam Bailey, it carries the Alabama baking tradition that grandmother Nana Dot passed down to the three generations who run Nana Dot’s Southern Sweets in Mesquite, Texas. The nine-inch cake serves 8 to 12, depending on how generous the slices get. Perfect for a birthday, a holiday table, or a Sunday dinner that needs a centerpiece. INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Nana Dot’s Southern Sweets ships Monday through Thursday each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight

• Cake arrives ready to enjoy.
• Upon arrival, place cake in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
• For longer storage, wrap cake tightly or place in an airtight container and freeze for up to 2 months.

For the best flavor and texture, allow the cake to sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes before serving.

To Serve

• If frozen, thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
• Remove cake from the refrigerator.
• Keep the cake covered and allow it to sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes before serving.
