Description
The sour pickles at Liebman’s Kosher Deli – the Bronx’s last kosher deli, operating on West 235th Street in Riverdale since 1953 – are the briny, garlicky variety that arrives with every deli table and has been the opening act of the meal here for over 70 years. Yuval Dekel has run the institution since 2002; the pickles are exactly what they were when Joe Liebman first set them on the table.
