Growing up in South Wales, Helen Coates spent early weekend mornings in the kitchen surrounded by family and the smells of allspice and cinnamon. Since opening Copper Kettle Bakery in 2013, she has given the Northeast a taste of that childhood with her famous Welsh Cakes. Today, you can get this traditional Welsh snack with dried currants, cranberries, chocolate chips, blueberry almond, butterscotch with pecans, white chocolate with citrus, apple crisp, fruit, nuts and chocolate or pineapples and coconut without hopping on a plane across the Atlantic. Smear on a dab of butter or jam and these scrumptious Welsh Cakes will warm your heart for sure!

• Cakes arrive ready to enjoy!
• Upon arrival, store cakes at room temperature or in the freezer.
• Cakes last up to 10 days in the refrigerator or up to 4 months in the freezer.

To Serve

• Heat cakes in the microwave for 10 seconds.
• Remove and enjoy!
  Cakes can also be eaten straight out of the bag.
