Sky’s cheesecakes have an unmistakable smooth and flavorful filing and a house-made crust with graham crackers and butter. Based on a recipe that’s over 100 years old, this is the West Coast version of the East Coast classic. Blended with fresh mango chunks and puree, the delicate flavor will amaze you.

Sky’s Gourmet Tacos is a Los Angeles institution, and its founder, Barbara Jean “Sky” Burrell, is an undeniable legend. She was the first African American hired by the Kroger’s supermarket chain, oversaw a staff of 200 at United Way, was on the board of The Watts Labor Action Committee, and was part of the team that introduced the first drive-thru for McDonald’s. But after all that, Sky decided to embrace her passion for food, and turned her attention to infusing the humble taco with a dose of Southern soul. Sky Taco was the result, and when it opened in 1992 it proved to be an overnight smash hit. Burrell has since opened a catering business and a gourmet market place, and has been showered with countless awards and accolades including a plaque from LA Mayor Eric Garcetti. But these are the tacos that started it all!

• Sky’s Tacos ships Monday-Wednesday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Cheesecakes ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
• Upon arrival, store cheesecake in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
• Cheesecake may be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator or up to 10 days in the freezer.
• Cheesecake should be served and sliced cold.
