Nana Dot’s Southern Sweets named it the Original G for Audris Barnes’s father, baking it from the same Alabama recipes grandmother Nana Dot handed down through three generations of the Mesquite, Texas family. The nine-inch cake serves 8 to 12, tender and rich enough to headline the table. Perfect for Sunday dinner, a birthday, or any gathering that calls for a proper layer cake. INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Nana Dot’s Southern Sweets ships Monday through Thursday each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight

• Cake arrives ready to enjoy.
• Upon arrival, place cake in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
• For longer storage, wrap cake tightly or place in an airtight container and freeze for up to 2 months.

To Serve

• If frozen, thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
• Remove cake from the refrigerator.
• Keep the cake covered and allow it to sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes before serving.
• Slice with a clean, sharp knife.
• Serve and enjoy!
