INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Aqua Best Seafood Market ships Monday-Thursday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping.

• Lobster ships fresh with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• After receiving the lobsters and you aren’t ready to cook it yet? Place the lobsters in the refrigerator, they should stay alive for up to 24 hours. If possible, place them in a plate and wet a paper towel or damp towel to keep them moist and cold. Leaving the lobsters without a damp towel can sometimes cause their gills to dry out.

To Serve

• Take off the rubber bands before steaming them, sometimes the rubber band creates a bitter taste. The most humane way to kill a lobster is to take a knife straight between the eyes and cut down. Female lobster tails are wider than male lobster tails. Female lobsters during the spring will have roe in the tail and body.
• Steaming lobsters are preferred over boiling. Steam for 8 mins for the first pound and 2 mins for each additional pound.
