Description
For more than 30 years, Baton Rouge’s Ambrosia Bakery has been a cornerstone of Louisiana’s Mardi Gras celebrations – and their Zulu King Cake is a rich, Carnival-season icon. Filled with coconut, cream cheese, chocolate morsels, and cinnamon sugar, then topped with a chocolate pour and toasted coconut, every slice delivers bold, festive flavor. Each cake includes a traditional plastic baby baked inside, along with the history of the King Cake, making it an authentic way to share the season with family, friends, or your krewe.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- The Ambrosia Bakery ships Monday through Wednesday each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight
- King Cake arrives ready to enjoy!
- Store at room temperature in sealed packaging for up to 3 days.
- King Cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
To Serve
- From the refrigerator or from frozen, allow King Cake to come to room temperature before serving.
- Remove King Cake from packaging before decorating.
- If necessary, the chocolate may be slightly warmed in the microwave for just a few seconds to make spreading easier.
- Spread chocolate topping evenly over the top of the King Cake.
- Sprinkle the Toasted Coconut over the chocolate topping while still wet.
- Slice and serve using the included Ambrosia Bakery Cake Knife.
